The XFL was a professional American football league that played one season in 2001. It was operated as a joint venture between the World Wrestling Federation (now known as WWE) and NBC. The XFL was conceived as an outdoor football league that would take place during the NFL off-season, and promoted as having fewer rules and encouraging rougher play than other major leagues.

Project overview

SapientRazorfish partnered up with Odopod to generate a few motion and still assets for a pitch for XFL.

My Role

Worked directly with Odopod creative team to put together key visuals for a pitch for XFL rebranding.

Project consisted of sourcing stock photography and compositing a visual asthetic that alined with the current re-branding effort. The team wanted to use a neon/florecent lighting treatment across these visuals. Final composites were ultimately used for a re-branding pitch effort that would generate new opportunites for website, app and video work.
